Commissions Ad 2 by Inspector97

I am opening my bookings for commissions for October

So if you were thinking of getting something done, please send me a note and tell me your concept.

After that it's just a quick Paypal transaction, an E-Mail address I can send roughs and updates to and we are good to go :) (Smile)

I charge $15 USD for a single character. It will still be $5 more for each additional character.
However, if you want series of single images and you order them all at once. I will charge $15 for the first and $10 for each additional piece after. Meaning If you order three pictures drawn with a single character in each it would be $15+$10+$10=$35. Like this

If you wanted a single character in one and two in another it would be $20+10=$30. Make sense? (Starting with the largest piece)

I charge $15 plus packing and shipping for an original copy mailed to you (Warts and all) including a colour copy of the final piece. Each is hand signed.

I don't do point commissions...sorry

You must be a legal adult to commission adult themed images from me.

Hamilton Comic Con 2017 Report by Inspector97

Hamilton Comic Con has come and gone. I met a lot of my usual fellow vendors in artists alley, it's a nice little community of people.
But we all did very poorly at the show. There maybe a number of reasons for this: The venue is out in the middle of nowhere with little else to do,eat or hang out at. It's still rather small, the guests might not pull in my audience demographic.... etc.
The con goers were plentiful, but they weren't there to shop with the artists. Hope it doesn't sound like sour grapes here, but back when I did the show at the Hamilton Convention centre i turned a profit and now two years in a row I've taken a big loss.
The tables are a lot of money to start with and and are not a very good size. Indeed I had trouble putting my stuff out, having to leave stuff off there table I'd normally be able to fit (At other cons).
So unless HCC is willing to make some changes I will not be attending next year. I'm sorry if I have any fans in Hamilton who look forward to coming to see me there, but you'll have to come to Niagara Falls Comic Con, London Comic Con or March's Toronto Comic Con.
Here is my usual montage of fun things I saw and did at Hamilton Comic Con this year :)

Upgrade by Inspector97

Normally I get to take a week off around my birthday to relax and draw (Cuz I enjoy that). But the company I work for during the day has recently gone through bankruptcy and then re-establishment. Which for me and only a few other kept us our jobs. We have been working hard to get the new company up and running doing the job we did but also taking on the sales side of thing that seven other people did.

Doing so I've had to cancel my vacations this year. Normally I take a week in April and one in September... but with the new company comes the sad fact there is no money in my vacation pool at work. This means I get no time off in 2017. Needless to say this sucks. I so wanted time off this month, but it seems circumstances have conspired to stop that.

I mention this because normally every month I open commission up with an announcement in my journal, knowing I'll have a week of free time to draw at my leisure. But not so this year.

I just kinda wanted to let people know who are waiting on works or are considering commissioning some. It just makes quick turnarounds hard to make for you all. I will continue as usual, drawing when I can and hope for a bit more time off around Christmas.

End of belly aching.

Biggest Fans by Inspector97

I've decided to cut back on the number of shows I'm doing this year. The organisers tend to ask for the fees all at once and I don't have thousands I can part with right now LOL.

(Confirmed) NIAGARA FALLS Jun 2nd 3rd and 4th
(Confirmed) MONTREAL COMIC CON July 7th 8th and 9th
(Confirmed) HAMILTON COMIC CON Sept 30 and Oct 1st
(Confirmed) LONDON COMIC CON Oct 13th 14th and 15th

Anyway, because of that I will not be attending a few shows I normally have. Maybe next year, but this year I won't be at:

Toronto Comic Con March 17th 18th and 19th (Not Attending this year)
Forest City Comic Con Sept 23 (Not Attending this year)
Ottawa Comic Con May 12th, 13th and 14th (Not Attending this year)
WINDSOR COMIC CON August 12th-13th, 2017 (Not Attending this year)

Throne Room by Inspector97
What can I say about the passing of Carrie Fisher Her departure
from this Earth was a shock to us all. From the heart attack
to her reported stabilisation, to her loss. A piece of my childhood
is broken. 2016 has been very greedy and harsh to our pop
culture icons. I know I've personally lost a bunch.

I'd once remarked to James Doohan (Scotty) that I've been watching
him so long I figured he'd know me... he didn't get the joke sadly.

But in some ways these characters are extended members of the family
or shards of ourselves we want to shine forever. I will miss her. She now joins
those who have gone to join the living Force.

Much of my work is inspired by RPGs I play with friends...or just hot chicks...
